Memories

May 4, 2012
I would like this page to be a type of journal for me to record cute things that my children say or do. I have a hard time remembering some times, and do not want to forget these precious days of their childhood.

2013:
(Way behind!)

Thursday, September 12
Yesterday Caleb was watching videos and said to me, "Mom, Thomas movies and Curious George movies aren't movies, they're epsodes!"

Today, Cliff was standing in front of the TV and Caleb asked him to move so he could "see the entire screen!"

We went out to eat tonight, and on the way, Caleb asked us, "what time does the sun go down?" followed by, "what time does the sun come up?" He is constantly asking what time it is! :)

Wow, it's been awhile since I wrote on here! Caleb is talking so much more than he was in May! He tries out just about every word we say! He can now say his name -- "Paleb" -- and our names -- "Beppy", "Lyh-la", "Padman" and of course Mommy and Dahhee! We spent a couple of weeks out in Colorado at the beginning of August and stayed with Aunt Kerri. Kerri has 2 cats that Caleb loved! So now he walks around with a stuffed puppy that is the same colors as one of her cats and he has named her "Lolly" after Lily, the cat!

This morning Chad and I were chatting when he woke up. We started talking about tickling and how we don't like it. He told me that Matt (one of the Maranatha college students) had been tickling him last Sunday. (Last Sunday was his last Sunday with us.) Then Chad said, "Well at least he's gone forever!" We all started laughing!

Friday, May 4
Caleb is now 23 months old! I can't believe he's almost 2 already. Some words that he can say are: "Mama" (all the time!!), "Da-ey" or "Dee" for Daddy, "Bye-bye" (this is his favorite -- he has to say this at least 3-5 times to everyone when they leave or get their coat on!), "Booh" (Winnie the Pooh -- we watch this every morning after breakfast right now!), "Woof-woof" for dog, "Bohl" (bowl), "Hi!", and recently "Roo" and "eat!"

Saturday, April 28
I assigned chores to the three older kids this morning to get the house clean. Everyone had a sweet attitude and went right to work, but as Chad started his chores, he said, "Mom, when we are all done working, can we just be lazy?" :)

A couple of weeks ago, Chad was showing me something (I can't even remember what now!), but he said, "Isn't that a funny sight?" Both Cliff and I laughed -- it was such a cute choice of words!
